SHAPING ENVIRONMENTAL GUARDIANS FOR TOMORROW
Careers
Despite being the third most favored hunting destination in South Africa and boasting coastal proximity, the Northern Cape still grapples with a dearth of young people pursuing maritime studies and wildlife training. LPFN is determined to address this gap by nurturing a new generation of conservation change-makers.
LPFN’s vision is to inspire and recruit young minds to embrace careers within these pivotal sectors. Our goal extends beyond education; we aim to empower young individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to drive environmental preservation. Through partnerships and support from stakeholders, LPFN aims to sponsor a minimum of 20 learners annually. These students will receive specialized training at esteemed institutions—10 at the Southern Africa Wildlife College and another 10 at the South African Maritime College. This endeavour signifies our unwavering commitment to fostering careers that are not only impactful but also essential for safeguarding our environment.
